June bring us to many crossroads in life. We begin celebrating what will be Summer soon. From Graduation to Weddings. These events all bring change. New cars, house hunting, moving cross country all on top of the Summer road trips to come. It's the perfect time to go over your coverages to make sure they align with what's happening in your life. June begins our official wildfire season and it's more important than ever to make sure you have taken steps to mitigate your home and property to protect them. It's a good idea to check with local fire departments for information on local mitigation practices.

• Here are some important summer tips to remember:

  • Make sure service on your car is done and tires are in good shape.

  • It's a good idea to have an Atlas in the car (we have those for you in the office here ;) as well as extra supplies like, snacks, phone chargers and water. Weather can turn fast on your drive.

  • Go over your homeowner's policy to make sure your dwelling coverage is accurate.

  • Keep an inventory of everything that's in your home. An easy way to do this is by taking photos or video of each room.
